About Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is suitable for most skin types and can help with:
- Dull or uneven skin tone
- Fine lines and early signs of aging
- Sun damage
- Mild acne scars
- Enlarged pores
- Rough or dry skin
Regular treatments can maintain healthy, glowing skin and support long-term skin renewal.
Crystal Microdermabrasion
Crystal microdermabrasion uses fine medical-grade crystals that are gently sprayed onto the skin to exfoliate the outer layer. The crystals and dead skin cells are then vacuumed away, revealing smoother skin underneath.
Best for:
- Thicker or more resilient skin
- Deeper exfoliation needs
- Dull, rough skin texture
- Clients who want a more intensive resurfacing treatment
Diamond Microdermabrasion
Diamond microdermabrasion uses a diamond-tipped wand to gently exfoliate the skin without the use of crystals. It provides a more controlled and precise treatment, making it ideal for sensitive areas such as around the eyes and lips.
Best for:
- Sensitive skin
- Thin or delicate skin
- Targeted treatment areas
- Clients who prefer a gentler exfoliation
To ensure the best results and minimize irritation, please follow these guidelines:
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 48 hours before treatment
- Do not use retinol, exfoliating acids, or harsh skincare products for 2–3 days prior
- Avoid waxing, chemical peels, or other aggressive treatments for 5–7 days before
- Inform your skincare professional about any medications or skin conditions
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup if possible
Proper aftercare helps protect your skin and maximize your results.
- Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily
- Keep skin hydrated with gentle moisturizers
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 48 hours
- Do not use exfoliating products, retinol, or acids for 2–3 days
- Avoid hot saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 24 hours
- Do not pick or scratch the treated area
Mild redness or sensitivity may occur immediately after treatment and usually resolves within a few hours.
